Delete your Encario account

Last updated: 10/09/2026

You can delete your Encario account at any time. The fastest way is from the app; if you don’t have it installed or can’t sign in, you can also ask us by email. Here is how, what is erased and what is kept.

1. From the app (instant)

  1. Open the Encario app (iPhone or Android) and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile icon, at the top right.
  3. Tap “Eliminar mi cuenta” (Delete my account — the app is in Spanish).
  4. Type ELIMINAR and tap “Eliminar definitivamente” (Delete permanently).

The account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

2. By email (if you don’t have the app or can’t sign in)

Write to support@encario.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address you signed up with. If you signed in with “Sign in with Apple” and hid your email, tell us the name you signed up with and roughly when, so we can find the account.

To protect your account we may ask you to confirm that it is you before deleting it. We will delete it and confirm as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month at most.

3. What is erased

  • Your identity and contact details: name, email, phone number (if you had one) and password are replaced with generic values. The account becomes “Usuario Eliminado” (deleted user) and nobody can sign in with it again.
  • Google or Apple sign-in: it is unlinked from the account. With Apple, we also ask Apple to withdraw the “Sign in with Apple” permission from Encario and we erase the access code we kept in order to do so.
  • Your favorites.
  • The devices registered for notifications: you stop receiving them.
  • Your profile picture, if you had one: it stops being linked to your account and stops being accessible. The file moves to an internal trash with no public access and is permanently deleted when the trash is emptied.
  • Your open sessions: they are closed on all your devices.

4. What is kept, and why

  • Conversations with selling companies. They stay in those companies’ history, because they are also theirs (for example, to handle a claim about a transaction), but they are no longer linked to you: they appear under the name “Usuario Eliminado”. The text of the messages is kept as you wrote it; if you want us to delete a specific message, write to support@encario.com and we will assess it.
  • Blocks and reports of messages and conversations, for as long as they are needed for the safety of the platform and to handle claims (explained in the Privacy Policy).
  • Technical security logs, such as the sign-in history with its date, IP address and device type. They stay tied to an account that is already anonymized and are kept for as long as needed for security and to meet legal obligations.
  • Backups. Server backups may still contain your data until they are renewed on their usual cycle.

5. If your account belongs to a company

If you work for a selling company (your account gives access to a company’s data), the account cannot be deleted from the app, because it affects that company’s information. Write to support@encario.com from your account’s email address and we will handle it with you.

6. Your Google or Apple account

Deleting your Encario account does not delete your Google account or your Apple ID. If you signed in with Apple, when the account is deleted we ask Apple to withdraw the “Sign in with Apple” permission you gave Encario. If you want to check it, or to withdraw the Google permission too, you can do so in the “Sign in with Apple” settings of your Apple ID or in your Google account’s security settings.
